Do I really need a conditioner for my dog?

For short-coated dogs, you can skip it. For double coats, curly coats, long coats, or dogs who tangle - yes. Conditioning closes the cuticle, helps prevent mats, and keeps the coat hydrated between baths.

Can I use human shampoo and conditioner instead?

Not routinely. Human hair products are formulated for more acidic skin than a dog's, so they tend to leave dogs dry and itchy over time. The Bath Duo is pH-balanced for dogs.

Is the Bath Duo suitable for sensitive skin?

It is formulated for it. Both products are sulfate-free, paraben-free, and free of synthetic fragrance. The shampoo is built around colloidal oatmeal and aloe. The conditioner uses coconut and shea butter for moisture without silicones. Any dog can react to any ingredient, so patch-test if yours has a known sensitivity.

How long does the Bath Duo last?

Around 3-4 months of routine bathing (every 2-4 weeks) for a medium dog. Larger dogs or more frequent bathers may go through it faster.

Is the conditioner a leave-in spray?

No - it's a rinse-out conditioner applied during the bath. For detangling between baths, use the Tangle Tamer or Slicker Brush.
