Cancellation policy
Subscribe & Save is our repeat-delivery option on the products you go through regularly. This page explains exactly how it bills, how to change it, and how to stop it.
How it works
On eligible product pages you can choose Subscribe & Save instead of a one-time purchase. You'll see the delivery frequency and the subscription price before you add to cart. Subscribing saves 15% off the one-time price on every shipment, for as long as the subscription is active.
Subscriptions are available on our consumable products — shampoo, conditioner, paw cleanser, balm, facial cleanser, and tooth scrub. Brushes and bundles are one-time purchases only.
Billing
Your first shipment is charged when you place the order. After that, your payment method is automatically charged on each scheduled delivery date at the subscription price in effect at that time, and the order ships on the same schedule as any other order.
We email you before each renewal, so you always have notice before a charge. If a payment fails, we'll retry it and let you know.
Skip, pause, reschedule, or cancel
You can cancel at any time. No fee, and no minimum number of shipments.
Sign in to your account on salkapet.com and open your subscriptions. From there you can:
- Skip the next shipment
- Change the delivery frequency
- Move your next delivery date earlier or later
- Update your shipping address or payment method
- Pause or cancel the subscription entirely
Changes need to be made before your next scheduled billing date to apply to that shipment. Once an order has been charged and entered processing we can't stop it — but you can return it under our refund policy.
If you'd rather not use the account portal, email hello@salkapet.com and we'll make the change for you. We don't make you call anyone, and we don't put a retention offer in front of you before we'll cancel.
Shipping on subscription orders
Each shipment is treated as its own order for shipping: free standard U.S. shipping at $40 or more, $5.99 flat below that. See our shipping policy.
Price changes
If the price of a subscription product changes, we'll email you before it takes effect on your subscription, so you can decide whether to continue.
Discounts
The 15% subscription discount generally can't be combined with other promotional codes. Where a promotion does apply to a subscription, the terms of that promotion will say so.
